C++ Developer - Toronto

Our client is looking for a C++ Developer to join their team in the Toronto area on a contract basis.

The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following duties:

Working as a Software Developer on the Application team. Design and develop software, write code used for the Embedded systems level (middleware, applications and HMI/UI software layers) fix bugs, write tests, and participate in code reviews. (agile environment).

Qualified candidates will possess the following skills and experience:

MUST HAVE

C++, QML, GUI (testing and development). 4-10 years experience Embedded Systems Development, O/S and applications.
Linux, Unix, QNX. 2-5 years of experience developing in an embedded Linux, Unix, QNX or mobile (iOS, Android) environment
Embedded Development. 2-3 years of experience developing in C++ at the middleware embedded level. Being able to write efficient code in limited board memory space is critical.
Engineering or Computer Science Degree

NICE TO HAVE

Agile, Momentics/Eclipse, Git, RTOS, Object-Oriented Design
