Manager, Linux Admin - Toronto

We're looking for a Linux Admin Manager in Mississauga!

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with the administration, deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of Linux based systems (RedHat Enterprise) and will follow policies and procedures to ensure consistent and repeatable practices for the provisioning of Linux systems and services. This person will be responsible for the management of corporate and production systems, and will assist in the day-to-day operational support of these systems.

This role will have approx. 4 direct reports and will be a very technical manager – someone with senior Linux experience as well as people management experience.

Qualification:
Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Minimum 6 years experience deploying, managing, and administering Linux (RedHat) based operating systems.
Familiarity with Ansible and automation technologies.
Experience with RedHat Satellite Server.
Knowledge and experience with RedHat virtualization.
In-depth knowledge of network protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, ARP, HTTP, HTTP/S, FTP, NTP) is required.
Strong understanding of ITIL and change management policies and procedures.
Experience with VMWare ESX and vSphere is an asset
Experience with configuration management tools.
Relational database expertise such as Oracle, MS SQL Server is an asset
Knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory, and relevant IT architecture experience
