With a recent acquisition, our client is looking to grow in all their markets! They are looking to add a Business Development Executive to lead the sales and business development efforts in their Telematics Business division.
As a Business Development Executive, your main responsibility will be to grow the business by successfully developing and closing sales with both new and existing customers. This will be done by the development of comprehensive sales and marketing plans, growing presence in the Construction, Specialty Transport and Winter Maintenance industries.

The Role: Business Development Executive
Selling: SaaS solution, to help manage mobile resources, GPS optimization, manage resource allocation, monitor route progression, delivery modules, manage accessories in support of the work being done by fuel management module, monitor 3 rd parties, an ERP for mobile resources they provide, all-inclusive offer, when they sign a customer, they don’t sell hardware or components – they sell information
Salesforce CRM; candidates will be provided with a pre-identified contact list through Salesforce
Industries selling into construction, engineering, concrete, public services such as municipalities, provincial government and utilities, specialized transportation such as school bus industry, livestock transportation, cranes, forestry
Quota: $3 million annual quotas (no quota for the first 2 quarters)
Will be given a specific territory: Mid West US
The Ideal Candidate Profile:
4+ years of experience, B2B sales experience; candidates will have a strong blend of both Account Management and Business Development
You have experience working for big business and startups. Why? We need someone with a strong sales process and methodology. Solution selling approach coupled with features/benefits selling.
Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in helping build out infrastructure within the organization.
Work from home office and interest in working with minimal supervision.
Preference will be given to candidates with ERP, Big Data, Telematics, SaaS
What’s in it for you?
Min $80,000 base salary with a range above, realistic 1st year $160,000+ OTE (uncapped)
Business/Flight expenses and car allowance ($500-$750 per month)
