About the Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Technical Account Manager to join our ACA TMetrix group on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a remote role based in Ontario, with occasional travel required to our Mississauga head office for training, and elsewhere around Ontario for meetings with clients and/or suppliers.

As our new Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for increasing the market share and presence for our outstanding portfolio of key suppliers, including premier companies such as Hioki, TDK Lambda, Form Factor, and InTest to mention a few. You will take care of geographies in Western Canada and be responsible for achieving sales targets through the sale of products and services, to new and existing customers. This includes the development of long-term relationships with customers as well as the development of account plans for new relationships. You will achieve this through direct, face-to-face contact with customers and the management of the sales process.

More About You
In order to qualify for this role, you will need a minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience, preferably in this field, as well as completion of a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or an Advanced Technologist Degree. In addition, you must have a strong command of English (both verbal and written), and a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.

As our ideal candidate, you have a working understanding of the technologies in both optical/high-speed communications and of the latest test and measurement products and solutions. You are able to manage multiple, complex sales and support situations, and you have the ability to understand customers specific needs at all levels and provide solutions for them. Moreover, you have experience building and executing a business plan, are resourceful, highly motivated, assertive, and able to effectively communicate and influence engineers to senior management in a complex competitive environment.
