Sharma & Associates CPA is a medium size accouting firm providing full services to its clinets since 1966.

Role Description

This is a full-time Staff Accountant role located in Surrey, BC. As a Senior Staff Accountant at Sharma & Associates CPA, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial statements using caseware and T2s using profile, general ledger accounting, and other accounting tasks. You will provide support to the accounting team and contribute to ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the accounting records and finanacial statemnt.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
1-3 years of relevant experience in public accounting or private industry
Experience in preparing financial statements and general ledger accounting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software programs is preferred
CPA designation or in the process of obtaining CPA designation is an asset
