Salary $90,000 - $150,000 per year

We are looking for a talented and driven individual to join our team as a Permanent Senior Accountant. This role is integral to our finance department within the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape our financial strategy and contribute to our growth. Responsibilities

As a Permanent Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including

Overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Ensuring compliance with SOX regulations and other relevant financial legislation.
Maintaining the general ledger and reconciling account discrepancies.
Assisting with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Coordinating with external auditors to facilitate audits and reviews.
Implementing and maintaining effective internal controls.
Preparing tax returns and ensuring timely payment.
Identifying opportunities for process improvements to optimize financial operations.
Participating in special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as required.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA license is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial accounting, with a focus on the manufacturing industry.
Proven experience with SOX compliance.
Proficiency in financial accounting systems and general ledger functions.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
