Job Description:

Senior Sales Manager. Reports To Director of Sales & Partnerships Purpose The Senior Sales Manager will leverage our customers' suite of core banking solutions and generate sales by penetrating and growing assigned territories across different domestic and international markets. They will also act as a collaborative partner exceeding customers’ expectations throughout the entire sales cycle. Duties and Responsibilities • Develop market needs for core banking solutions and services via prospecting (emails, cold- calling, networking) and connecting with existing customers within a defined territory • Perform presentations and demonstrations to prospects promoting the value of our customer's suit of products that align with their business needs • Gain trusted advisor status within assigned accounts to develop long term relationships and leverage sales • Develop software and professional services proposals for new and existing customers • Answer commercial & technical questions as they arise in the sales process, if unsure leverage the sales support team and convey the correct answers back to the prospect/customer • Manage all annual software maintenance renewals & proposals within a defined territory • Maintain personal knowledge of the suite of products and their advantages over the competition • Engage in technical sales discussions with clients from executive to C-level • Take identified opportunities and drive them through a defined sales process to closure • Effectively use the available internal resources in marketing, engineering, sales management and technical support to meet and surpass customer’s business goals • Utilize Salesforce for managing customers, leads, opportunities and forecasting • Negotiate partnership terms and accountabilities, including exclusivity arrangements • Develop high level strategies for our clients as part of a consultative sales cycle Qualifications • Bachelor degree in a Business, Marketing or a related field • 5+ years of experience and success in a solutions sales role or other technical sales role within the banking vertical • Demonstrated knowledge, interest and skill in the use of Information Technology within the process industry domain • Experience in software solution enterprise sales will be considered an asset • Strong communication (oral and written) skills, personal tact and diplomacy and excellent problem-solving skills Special Factors • Ability to travel internationally up to 30% • Ability to collaboratively sell solutions in a highly matrix environment Scope • Will work directly with the Director of Sales & Partnerships, Account Managers, Project Managers and clients • Will sell within a defined territory
