· Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week
· Location – Oak Bluff, Manitoba

· Reports to Director of Financial Planning and Analysis
SUMMARY
The Junior Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. This position involves assisting with various accounting tasks, including financial reporting, analysis, reconciliation, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background with a foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Junior Accountant is a key financial support position for the organization, responsibilities include:
· Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
· Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
· Support the data analytics and Power BI functions of the organization.
· Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
· Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
· Process accounts payable, receivable, and treasury transactions.
· Assist in preparing tax filings and other regulatory requirements.
· Assist in maintaining and improving financial controls and processes.
· Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
· Assist with internal and external audits.
· Support the ATP team in various projects and tasks as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Enrollment in a recognized accounting program at a Junior level.
· A post-secondary degree (i.e. bachelor’s degree) in accounting is considered an asset.
· 1-3 years’ accounting experience.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
· Power BI experience is considered an asset.
· Familiarity with accounting software (Dynamics Business Central preferred).
· Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with high-quality standards.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary Range - ATP offers competitive base pay based on education, training, and work experience, plus an annual bonus
