Accountant
Responsibilities:

Ensures compliance with the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) guidelines of the Group:

Enforces safety and evacuation procedures, leading by example (responsible driving, wearing PPE on-site, etc.).
Promotes a preventive approach and ensures the health and safety of team members (RPS, working conditions, etc.).
Contributes to the implementation of the Action Plan, performance review, and roadmap within their scope.
Raises awareness among teams and ensures adherence to environmental guidelines, allocating necessary prevention resources and fostering individual accountability.

The Warehouse Accountant will be responsible for the Warehouse Accounting and financial office flows of the warehouse:

Preparation of Purchase Requests by assigning the proper SAP code and cost code for the correct budget allocation and the proper allocation of the costs
Preparation of Delivery orders by assigning the proper SAP code and cost code in order to address the costs in the proper way according to the budget and for budget monitoring purposes
Assist Procurement Team in identifying potential suppliers for inventory items
Preparation of material goods receipts ensuring accurate coding to material classes for a correct allocation of the goods commodity value in the warehouse accounting balance
Control, process and monitor the issuance of materials to various sites by assigning the proper cost code for a correct allocation of the cost in the warehouse accounting balance according to the budget and for budget monitoring purposes
Coordination of store inventory and communication to relevant project personnel
Reconciliation of physical inventory to accounting records in order to align the warehouse accounting statement for the project accounting closing balance
Invoices checking and verification
Daily transaction posting and bookkeeping through SAP
Creation and management of fixed asset register in SAP
Preparation of management and financial accounting reports, related to the monthly closing of the warehouse accounting statement
Filing and internal audit compliance

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Undergraduate degree or diploma, including specialized courses in accounting
Strong MS Office skills in Excel, Word, Outlook Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, results oriented
3-5 years of experience in the related field
Highly accurate in preparing and entering financial information
Understanding of basic accounting principles, including maintenance of ledgers, cash flows, budgeting and forecasting
Experience with standard contract terms and how they are applied to the billing process
