Job Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to join our finance team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UAE financial regulations, and supporting the financial operations of the company. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and has a strong understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping:
Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system.
General Accounting:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Handle daily accounting operations, such as invoicing, payments, expense tracking, and petty cash management.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are resolved promptly.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor budgetary performance and report any variances to management.
Tax Compliance:
Ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations, including VAT filing and reporting.
Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns and liaise with tax authorities as required.
Audit Support:
Prepare documentation and reports for internal and external audits.
Work with auditors to ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
Financial Analysis:
Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and provide insights to management.
Analyze financial data and trends to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
Review and process supplier invoices, ensuring all payments are authorized and within budget.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure all financial activities comply with UAE laws and company policies.
Prepare and submit financial reports to management and relevant authorities as required.
Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably within the UAE.
Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws in the UAE.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial record-keeping and reporting.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is a plus.
Knowledge of UAE VAT laws and compliance requirements.
Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
