Specifically, your role will include:

Daily Bank and Disposition Account reconciliation
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Process buyout quotes and create assets in Infolease
Process transactions for Dealer accounts receivable
Operational support to Transactional Finance team, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Process transactions and reconciling accounts to a high standard of accuracy and compliance
Manage internal controls to protect all assets from loss or misappropriation
Identify and report non-compliance of established controls
Apply best practices advised by internal and external auditors to continually improve the control environment
Financial reporting is timely, accurate, and is presented in a way that is understood by business managers and supports effective decision making
Operational issues and business models are supported by effective and insightful financial analysis
Cultivate relationships and trust with both internal and external customers to grow engagement with the Silver Chef brand
Communicates effectively with the team and all stakeholders. Updates them regularly on any roadblocks or outcomes
Demonstrates commitment to the financial objectives and KPI’s of the finance team
Adhoc analysis and projects
Support a culture of continual improvement within the finance team

Skills to Thrill:

1 -3 years’ experience in a similar role, and working towards a CPA designation
Post-secondary degree in Accounting or Finance
Highly organized and detail-oriented professional that can show the persistence and creativity necessary to address trickier situations or tight deadlines
Strong analytical skills and the ability to problem solve
Flexible and solutions-driven team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.
High level of interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise, advise, and interact effectively with other staff members and other stakeholders.
Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment
Strong proficiency in MS Office, with an emphasis on Excel
Strong customer focused approach
