Responsibilities

Provide financial planning and track actual results versus plans to ensure financial stability and growth.
Manage forecasts and budgets across various departments to ensure proper allocation of resources.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Education, and other internal customers to help them make informed business decisions and enhance their financial literacy.
Conduct planning and budgeting reviews with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for projects and monitor actual results versus forecasts, providing recommendations for improvements where necessary.
Continuously seek out opportunities for process improvements and identify areas of efficiency to enhance overall financial performance.

Qualifications

•Manufacturing experience is required
•Experience with Canadian accounting and finance procedures
•3+ years of related experience
•Strong Excel is required
•Experience with planning tools is an asset
• Should possess both strategic and hands-on capabilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills, effective time management, and a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
• Proficient in technology, advanced system user, and skilled in troubleshooting.

Summary

Location: Newmarket
Compensation: 90,000- 110,000 depending on experience
