Job Description:We are looking for an Accountant to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our company. Responsibilities:Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reportsDevelop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgetsPerform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirementsCreate new processes to improve financial efficiencyPreparing weekly payroll/WSIB/source deductionsProcessing invoices and paymentsPosting journal entries to general ledgerReport analysis and findings to management teamMaintaining the billing of new and existing clientsSupervising accounting and collection department staffManaging staff in cancelation departmentResponding to supplier and customer enquiries ​Qualifications:6-10 years accounting experienceCompleted CGA programMBA from an accredited university is an asset Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools-MS OfficeMust be proficient in QuickbooksDetail and deadline-orientedAbility to multi-task and work in a team environmentAbility to work under pressure to meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem solving skillsCompany Description:Over the last 20 years Safe Tech has served people in the GTA and Southern Ontario from our down town North York Head office located at Yonge and Sheppard.Safe Tech is a rapidly growing security company which provides 'Loss Prevention Solutions' to some of Canada's largest corporations.
