University Degree in Accounting and your CPA
Must have worked through complete tax files in a public accounting firm
Must have 3-5 years of work experience in this role
Must have excellent knowledge of Canadian Income Tax
Thorough understanding of GAAP/GAAS, ASPE, CAS and CIS
We believe in using technology to its fullest, so being a wiz with Microsoft Suite, Adobe Acrobat, CaseWare, Taxprep, Cantax, FormMaster, DT Practice is super important
What you can expect on the job:
Complete all compilation engagement documents to be issued to the client
Completion of working papers, financial statements, planning documents notes and schedules
Compliance reviews of prepared corporate and personal tax returns
Compliance reviews of prepared income tax slips and filings including T4's and T5's
Must be able to identify significant issues
Bring an inquisitive mindset and pose credible solutions to issues
Ensure all queries and understanding points have been cleared
Prepares interim invoices as required
When will you work...Shift : Days: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $69K to 90K annually depending on experience.
