Staff Accountant
A rapidly growing boutique accounting firm in downtown Toronto, is looking for a qualified senior tax accountant to join its team. The right candidate will have solid experience with the preparation of Tax Returns (T1, T2 and T3) and Notice to the Reader financial statements.
This is a Hybrid Role:

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, hard-working individual who is passionate about what they do. Additional qualifications include:

4-5 years of solid work experience;
Pursuing CPA designation; strong interest in taxation;
Skilled in communication (verbal and written), organization skills, client service, questioning and listening, time management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills;
Candidate must be comfortable in a technology dependent environment including proficiency with Microsoft Office, Caseware and Tax Prep. Proficiency with Simply Accounting, and QuickBooks is an asset.
Possess strong interpersonal skills;
Work well within an environment that values teamwork but can also work independently.
