Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant at our Calgary, AB Headquarters.

The Ideal Candidate

Own all areas of accounting reconciliation process (Bank, AR/AP, Intercompany, Inventory, GL, Fixed Assets, Sales, Tax, etc.)
Work alongside Financial Controller to generate accurate financial reporting
Support financial and tax audits (both internal and external)
Support business processes and execute accounting policies and procedures
Support month-end and year-end close process

Qualifications

Proven experience as a bookkeeper, staff accountant or senior accountant
Extensive experience in inventory management, multiple revenue channels, and consolidation reporting
Extensive knowledge of financial reporting processes in both US (GAAP) and Canada (IFRS)
Extensive knowledge of tax laws in both US (State & Federal) and Canada (Provincial & Federal)
Ability to effectively communicate financial information to company executives and stakeholders
Extensive experience using accounting and ERP systems (QBO, SAP, NetSuite, SAGE)
Experience in the luxury or fashion industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is preferred

Pay Rate

$75,000 - $100,000 CAD Annually
