As we experience rapid growth, we are seeking a skilled Property Accountant to join our dynamic team.
Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Property Accountant to manage full-cycle real estate accounting responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in QuickBooks and/or Sage, have a minimum of 1-yr experience in real estate accounting and administration, be able to work autonomously, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all aspects of real estate accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Proactively prepare cashflow statements and submit reports on daily, weekly and monthly cashflow needs.
Manage property-related financial activities, including rent collections, operating expenses, and capital expenditures.
Coordinate with property managers and other departments to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Provide detailed financial reports and analysis to senior management.
Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks and/or Sage.
Administrate construction contracts, assume responsibility for contractor and sub-contractor compliance matters and notify owner as to project progress.
Participate in the underwriting of new properties and the refinance of existing mortgages.
Preparing financial models as requested by the Managing partner
Control all incoming and out going wires with approval of the Managing partner
Report to the managing partner
Qualifications:

Proven experience in full-cycle real estate accounting.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and/or Sage.
Strong ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Bilingual
Valid driver’s license (preferred).
Skills:

Solid understanding of real estate accounting principles and practices.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt quickly to changes and handle a fast-paced work environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.).
