We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to work with our team of just over 150 staff in the community of Grande Prairie. This will be an exciting role with a high level of autonomy and the successful Human Resources Manager will work directly with our CEO, Board of Directors and a variety of line managers to ensure that strategic initiatives progress as planned. The successful Human Resources Manager will be responsible for a wide variety of functions, including:
• Design strategies for central Human Resources best practices and functions including Talent Management and onboarding, succession planning, candidate attraction and retention, and both salary and total compensation
• Ensure full compliance with applicable legislation and Employee Labour Standards
• Oversee and lead an annual Talent Management process
• Act as a Human Resources Business Partner, advising internal staff at all levels on issues related to Human Resources matters
• Manage and review all employee benefit and total compensation packages and ensure that the organization remains an employer of choice
• Assist with all stages of the employee life cycle including attraction, hiring, on-boarding, career development, performance management and terminations
• Report regularly to the Board of Directors as needed
• Maintain internal HRIS system and ensure that it meets the ongoing and changing needs of the organization

Qualifications
As our successful Human Resources Manager will be solely responsible for the creation and implementation of a variety of Human Resources functions we are seeking a highly qualified candidate. In order to be considered for the position the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a Human Resources Management role
• Strong ability to collaborate and gain consensus from a variety of internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• A proven ability to work closely with an Executive Management team including the Board of Directors and CEO
• Above average computer skills in a Windows environment including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Previous senior-level experience including HRIS management, data analytics, business administration skills, compensation and talent management
• Strong knowledge of Alberta Employee Relations legislation and related compliance
• Experience maintaining a positive relationship with WCB
• An undergraduate or post-graduate degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration is required
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
