HR ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR REQUIRED IN TORONTO
Our client in the Logistics industry is seeking an Human Resources Coordinator to join their HR team of 3. This role is heavily focused in recruitment for the coming months. You will be handling other HR functions throughout the contracted time. This role involves working on site/in office. Must be comfortable working on site in Delta, BC. Hours of work are Monday to Friday between 7am-4:30pm.
Roles and Responsibilities
Prepare hiring & orientation packages; conduct and support new hire orientation and training
Coordinate and lead the full-cycle salaried and hourly recruitment process, including: drafting job postings, identifying recruitment strategies, advertising, screening, creating interview guides, scheduling and conducting interviews, extending offers, coordinating reference and criminal record checks
Drafting internal job postings and internal training opportunities, send candidates to hiring manager, scheduling and conducting internal interviews and complete necessary paperwork for the successful candidate
Provide administrative support at the site level to support company-wide initiatives including HR analytics, reports, scholarship program, safety shoe program, tuition reimbursement, recognition, employee surveys, security, employee communications and social activities
Promote and maintain employee relations between hourly Team Members and Management
Qualifications and Experience
Human Resources diploma or comparable Education
Must understand recruitment processes
Excellent verbal and written communication and Customer Service Skills
Must be a self started and eager to learn
