We are looking for an experienced General Accountant to join a team in the Manufacturing sector located in Mississauga near the airport.

Responsibilities

In this General Accountant role in Mississauga, you will be responsible for the following:

Responsible for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and all invoicing in compliance with company policies
Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner
Prepare complex journal entries and account reconciliations
Recurring journal entries maintenance and reconciliation
Perform month-end close, and journal entries, with minimum supervision
Assist in the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing process including monthly financial close workbook preparation

Qualifications

We are looking for the following for this General Accountant role located in Mississauga:

Minimum 3 years of accounting experience across all aspects of the function
A bachelor’s degree in either business administration or accounting.
Experience working with large ERP is an asset, such as Great Plains.
Experience working in manufacturing is an asset.
