Full Stack Developer, CEO Systems - Toronto

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.
Integrate into the team quickly. Deploy often and early
Write short specs and prototypes to test new ideas
Write unit tests for the new code that you craft. Improve test coverage, follow development standards
Ensure your code is designed with maintainability in mind; be familiar with PEP8 standards
Nurture the applications and tools, through working with stakeholders and understanding their needs; be service-oriented
Mentor junior team members; take on leadership opportunities
Work with other software teams to improve system communications, performance and documentation
Innovate through exploring and reviewing new technologies
Participate in design and regular code reviews; helping your colleagues do their best
Take ownership of, manage and launch Django applications used for maintaining our CEO systems
2-4 years of Python experience; Django even better
Understanding of the full web stack – from server to browser – Front- and back-end knowledge
Programming experience in an open source environment
Knowledge of web standards; excitement about HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and related tech
Comfort navigating the command line, especially with git
Interest in emerging technologies; innovative thinker
PostgreSQL familiarity; digging in when addressing performance issues, can wrangle SQL queries
A strategic thinker with strong technical and analytical skills
