We are seeking an experienced Fleet Manager for our Nisku, AB location, experienced with ISO 9001:2015 & DOT (Department of Transportation) standards and regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with all operational lines of business, to ensure equipment, maintenance, safety and logistical needs are met.

Reporting to the Director of Operations,you will be responsible for many high level duties including the coordination and tracking of all maintenance and safety records for vehicles, equipment, tools and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Follow standards set out by the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems
- Work alongside and correspondence with Operations Manager and Shop Manager daily
- Lead and direct vehicle and equipment maintenance personnel
- Manage KeepTruckin ELD system to ensure Company is compliant with Transport Canada Regulations
- Manage and monitor Company's Carrier Profile under the National Safety Code (NSC)
- Train, monitor and mentor all employees on KeepTruckin to ensure they are compliant with Hours of Service (HOS) and errors/deficiencies
- Create, review and maintain required quality forms and tracking sheets associated within the Fleet Management division;
- QMS (Quality Management System): Action Tracker, Issue Tracker, Document Control, Vendor Management
- Tracking Sheets: 3 month, CVIP, Maintenance Log, Equipment Certifications
- Coordinate, maintain and track all vehicles and equipment through preventative maintenance program and KeepTruckin System
- Coordinate current and required maintenance on all vehicles and equipment
- Coordinate, maintain and track all required equipment re-certifications;
- Sheaves, Slings, Testing Equipment, etc.
- Create, develop and maintain equipment procedures
- Ensure shop/field tools and equipment are highly maintained
- Coordinate modifications and new equipment as required
- Identify and report any deficiencies with the equipment fleet (KPI’s)
- Trouble shoot and find solutions for required action items in the division
- Review and sign off all applicable eCompliance forms daily
- Ensure all personnel are compliant will all applicable forms:
- Pre-Trip
- Equipment Inspection – Weekly, 3 month and CVIP
- Damaged Equipment/Tools
- Action Items
- Strive for continual improvement on all facets involved in the division
- Field visits with associated maintenance and inspections as required

Fleet Coordinator Safety Responsibilities:

- Shall lead, direct and support safety initiative and activities.
- Shall be a role model of the safety program and participate in formal safety functions at the “worksite level”.
- Shall ensure contractors, supervisors and employees are aware of and comply with the HSSE program and all applicable government regulations.
- Shall participate in inspections and audits within the manager’s area.
- Shall ensure corrective actions are taken when deficiencies are found during inspections and audits.
- Shall take necessary action(s) to control and /or resolve any situation that threatens the Health and Safety of employees.
- Shall ensure all reports of unsafe work are investigated immediately and any unsafe condition remedied without delay

Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials:

- 5+ years experience in similar role within the oil & gas sector
- Extensive knowledge of DOT (Department of Transportation Regulations), HOS (Hours of Service), Driver Log Books
- Knowledge & experience Transport Canada Regulations, and the aptitude to maintain up to date with changes in legislation
- Computer savvy, will be working in Cloud based software platforms, KeepTruckin, and MS Office Suite programs
- Must be mechanically inclined, previous experience with hydraulics would be considered an asset
- Excellent judgment and proven problem-solving skills
