Customer Service Representitive - Toronto
We are currently looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our vibrant, growing manufacturing client located in SE Calgary, AB. If you have experience working directly within a smilar role to below please get in contact with us today!
• Accurately and efficiently respond to all customer inquiries regarding product information, availability, warranty claims and pricing
• Accurately process sales orders and credits in a timely manner
• Manage customer accounts in designated territory
• Effectively prioritize daily tasks and follow up on resolutions that ensure customer satisfaction
• Monitor all Customer Service in-boxes and company websites to ensure urgent requests are
addressed immediately
• Review daily credit hold report and obtain credit approval #’s as required
• Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions and alternatives in a timely
manner
• Review daily order maintenance reports to ensure orders are dated correct, and customers are
promptly notified of any potential delays
• Build strong, sustainable relationships with customer through open and interactive communication
• Proactively identify and raise areas for process improvement through the appropriate channels to prevent further customer issues
• Work collaboratively with Sales to fulfill customer needs and address customer concerns
• Work collaboratively with production and shipping to communicate all customer expedites or
customer specific requirements
• Maintain complete and up-to-date customer profiles and price catalogues
• Visit customers with the territory sales Representative to help build and maintain good working
relationships
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere with a culture of respect for others
• Act as a strong team player that shows commitment to achieving departmental goals
• Other Duties as assigned by the Customer Service manager
Qualifications
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
• Direct experience working within a manufacturing/production environment providing customer service
• Excellent customer service skills and willing to go the extra mile to help the customer
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Work effectively as both a team player and an individual contributor
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
• Effectively manages difficult situations, knowing when to escalate or request additional resources
• Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all times
• Diplomatic yet assertive when dealing with customers, sales and operations
• Maintain confidentiality, maturity and discretion in all aspects of the job
• Interfaces effectively with all levels of management
• Pleasant telephone manner
