Come join us if you are looking for a purpose-driven and authentic career! As a Corporate Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including month-end close activities, reconciliations, and supporting our annual financial statement audit. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to independently resolve discrepancies. About You

Proven ability to identify and resolve unusual entries, discrepancies, or problems independently
Strong organizational skills with exceptional time management and attention to detail
2-3 years of experience in an accounting role
Proficiency in Excel and solid accounting knowledge
Experience in eCommerce and familiarity with NetSuite, Shopify, and/or Avalara is considered an asset

Responsibilites

Lead the month-end close process, including IFRS 16 entries, bank reconciliations, and various account reconciliations (PayPal, credit card, gift cards)
Manage and track accruals, including wholesale invoicing and inventory costing
Oversee sales tax reporting and reconciliation
Record journal entries related to eCommerce fees
Reconcile 3PL vs Shopify data to ensure accuracy
Support the annual financial statement audit, providing necessary documentation and insights
Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed
Build and maintain positive working relationships with both internal and external business partners
Provide backup support for team members as required
