Within a versatile team, the toolmaker is motivated by manual work,
precision, the search for continuous improvement of products and processes in order to meet
the diverse demands of our customers.
Production and Operations
Read and interpret drawings, technical sheets of various tools, dies, prototypes
or models, calculate dimensions and tolerances and adjust / configure
manual and CNC machines
Manufacture, sharpen and repair different products and cutting tools
Act as a pivot in the production department by offering support to
others and sharing professional knowledge
Ensuring the quality of products
Managing the inventory of raw materials
All other related tasks related to production and operations
Safety and equipment
Identify equipment malfunctions and apply corrective measures
Perform the basic mechanical maintenance required on the machines
Plan the maintenance and replacement of tools and equipment
Service to clients
Estimate costs and produce clients' projects
Manage technical problems of customers or suppliers

Full time 37.5 hrs / week (8 am to 5 pm Monday to Thursday and 8 am to noon Friday)

Qualifications
the / the candidate (s) have to have the following profile:
Hold a Toolmaker's diploma (transferable knowledge) or equivalent experience
(machining, machining, CNC, CAD drawings, etc.)
Experience of 2 years or more in the field
Good communication skills in English (3/5) and French (4/5)
Fluency in computer technology and
sought skills
Involvement and attitude positive within the team
Great attention to detail and thoroughness
Versatility and initiative
Autonomy and motivation
Integrity and reliability
Honesty and respect
Good management of time and priorities
