Please note: This job requires travel across Canada (at present: British Colombia, Alberta, and Ontario for now. Travel to other locations within Canada may be required in the future.) All relocations costs are covered by the employer.

Salary: $23.50 hourly for 30 to 44 hours per week

Terms of employment: Term or contract (1 year); Full time; Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime, Early Morning, Morning

Start date: Starts as soon as possible

Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

Work Site Environment: Outdoors; At heights; Wet/damp; Hot; Cold/refrigerated;

Work locations may vary. On the road job: Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.

Work Location Information: Rural area; Staff accommodation provided; Urban area; Remote location; Various locations; Relocation costs covered by employer

Transportation/Travel Experience: Provincial/territorial

Specific Skills:
Splice, join and connect wires
Signal safety procedures to other workers and to the general public
Perform general labouring duties
Perform miscellaneous labouring activities to help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed
Move tools, equipment and other materials
Determine nature, cause and location of trouble
