What You Will Be Doing:

FINANCIAL REPORTING AND MONTH-END CLOSE
Lead the month-end close process
Private reporting under ASPE
Prepare monthly variance analysis and commentary
Support technical accounting research
Journal entries/accruals/reconciliations
Establish and improve accounting processes
Fx calculations (translation/CTA)
Intercompany transactions
Consolidations
Support the Manager of Finance with budgeting & forecasting
External audit prep
Internal controls
M&A
Acquisition - support the integration of month-end close as well as systems
SYSTEMS IMPLEMENTATIONS
Support any systems implementations or upgrades

What We Need From You:

CPA designated (preferred) or near completion of the program
4-5 years of relevant accounting or audit experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Experience with Sage is a strong asset. System savvy with the ability to learn new technology quickly
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced growth environment
