Senior Accountant

As a finance associate, you will be responsible for:

Preparing and delivering accurate and timely financial statements and reports for the company and its projects
Assisting in the budgeting process and ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals
Analyzing and explaining the financial performance and variances of the company and its projects
Reconciling customer accounts, producing account statements, reporting key cost drivers, and managing inventories
Maintaining financial records and supporting the procurement process
Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and providing them with relevant and timely information
Participating in the development and implementation of best practices for internal control, accounting policies, risk management, system improvement, technology enhancement, team collaboration, and cross-training
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Taking on special projects and other duties as required
To succeed in this role, you will need:
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
At least two years of relevant work experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Advanced)
Knowledge of accounting software and systems (Quickbooks)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
