Position Description:
Givens LLP is currently recruiting for a full-time QuickBooks Online Bookkeeper for our Edmonton office.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain accounting records for clients using the QuickBooks Online applications
• Reconcile all accounts as needed
• Understand account and company setup steps and maintain a general knowledge of the major areas of QuickBooks Online
• Assist in running reports that provide business analysis and results for clients
• Create and file sales tax reports for clients
• Assist in other bookkeeping duties as needed
• Invoice clients for bookkeeping services

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• 2- 5 years experience in a bookkeeping role with 1-2 years experience specializing in QuickBooks Online
• Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel skills
• Ability to manage time and adhere to strict deadlines
• Exposure to, accounting and tax software such as CaseWare, Profile, Simply and QuickBooks Desktop is preferable
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong focus on client service
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
