Property Accountant - Toronto

Property Accountant
The ideal candidate is responsible for full-cycle accounting on a portfolio of commercial properties while reporting to the Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities

Monthly, quarterly, and annual preparation and reporting of property financials
Annual budgeting
Monthly variance analysis
Prepare monthly accruals and final year-end billings
Assist in the preparation and review of consolidation reporting
Participate in the quarterly forecast
Liaise with various departments
Participate in special projects and take on other duties, as assigned

Qualifications

Commercial property accounting experience is required
CPA designation or enrollment is required
3-4+ years of related experience
Ability to work with cross-functional teams
Yardi or JD Edwards experience is an asset
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills
