Junior Accountant
We are seeking a dedicated Junior Accountant to join our team at Arctic Pearl in Richmond, BC. Our company is known for its commitment to sustainability and the highest standards in seafood production. We are looking for a talented individual to contribute to our financial operations while growing their accounting career.

Key Responsibilities:

-Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
-Manage accounts payable and receivable functions
-Ensure accurate record-keeping
-Collaborate with the procurement and production teams to track and analyze cost data
-Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures
-Ensure compliance with seafood industry regulations and financial standards
-Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
-Assist in audits and work with external auditors
-Handle general financial administrative tasks within the company

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Team player with a proactive and positive attitude
-Previous experience in seafood or food industry accounting is a plus
-Knowledge of Canadian accounting principles and seafood regulations is preferred
