Junior Accountant
Job Description

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Junior Accountant will play a key role in supporting our financial operations. You will work closely with the Senior Accountants and management to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions, record-keeping, and reporting. Your responsibilities will include assisting in various financial activities, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial analysis.

Primary Responsibilities

Responsible for processing intercompany invoices
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Resolve customer billing inquiries and disputes in a timely manner.
Generate customer invoices and manage invoice records.
Responsible for maintaining accurate records of customer invoices and payments.
Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries.
Assist with reconciling bank statements.
Post cash receipts
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Assist with financial reports and statements as needed.
Assist in the analysis of financial data.
Assist in the preparation of departmental budgeting and forecasting activities.
Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
Maintain organized and complete financial records.
Ensure proper filing and documentation of all accounting transactions.
Participate in financial projects and tasks as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2+ years of proven experience in the same or similar role.
Working towards CPA or similar certification preferred.
Experience using Quickbooks Online.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Advanced understanding of Excel
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges.
