Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Accountant at Advinor CPA Ltd. located in Surrey, BC. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, including but not limited to: processing accounts payable and receivable, managing bank reconciliations, maintaining financial records, and preparing financial statements and reports. The Junior Accountant will also be responsible for assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and supporting the accounting team as required.

Qualifications

Working knowledge of QuickBooks and/or other accounting software
Experience with accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations
Ability to maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial statements and reports
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field
CPA student or candidate is preferred
