About The Role

Assist in maintaining the trial balances of approximately 16 active entities in 3 countries.
Prepare and process complex month end journals.
Prepare and/or review balance sheet reconciliations and work concurrently with Ausenco’s Shared Service Centre to clear outstanding items in a timely manner and provide additional comments for the reviewer.
Prepare payment requisitions for office rents and maintain the lease commitment schedule.
Prepare/review monthly GST, PST, and sales use tax returns.
New project setups and ongoing project setup maintenance in accordance with contract terms and change orders.
Post cash receipts once a month for all North American entities.
Assist with audit inquiries.
Assist with other accounting and administrative projects as assigned.

About You

Working towards your CPA designation.
2-3 years of general/full cycle accounting with AR experience preferred.
Experience working in a transactional services team within a professional services environment.
A strong and effective communicator, with the ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation.
Commitment to excellence in work output and customer service.
Ability to complete complex month-end journal entries.
Ability to deliver quality, detail-oriented output under pressure with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.
Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, including experience in word processing, spreadsheets, and accounting software.
