We are currently recruiting for 12 Credit Assistants for a 12-month contract with a top 5 bank in downtown Edmonton.
Pay rate: $17.12/hr
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 1pm-9pm, MUST be available for all shifts, Late shift will be twice a week from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Overtime or weekends required: Saturday 8 to 4 pm rotation based so 1 or 2 Saturdays a month.
As a Credit Assistant, your responsibilities will include, but are not be limited to:
- Responsible for the adjudication of all Mortgage Sales Force originated mortgages in Ontario and Atlantic Canada
- Review mortgage documentation (real estate appraisals, proof of income, down payment, etc.)
- Provide telephone and email services (back office vs telephone is 50/50)
- Complete various administrative tasks as required

Qualifications
Must have:
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Organizational and time management skills. –
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Computer skills –Outlook, MS Excel and One Note familiarity
Nice to have:
- Previous banking experience
- Consumer mortgage experience
