Job Description:IDN is a leading distributor of architectural & security hardware, access control systems, video surveillance equipment, doors & frames, locksmithing tools, and related security products. Job Description: The Accounts Payable Associate will be responsible for coordinating, reviewing and processing invoices, issuing ACH and Cheque payments, responding to inquiries from internal and external parties, and reconciling vendor statements and AP Sub-Ledger. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Process vendor invoices and monthly expense reports in SXe – ensuring accuracy and on timely basisProvide support for branches, such as invoice coding and payment status, disputes etc.Respond to inquiries from vendors and other internal contacts in a timely mannerDevelop and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and internal personnelMeet deadlines and obtain proper invoice approvalsProficient ongoing contact with all suppliers and branches as requiredReconcile Vendor statements and address all past-due itemsMaintain vendor filesMonth/year end closes Key Working Relationships: The successful candidate will report to the Accounting Manager. This individual will also be working with branches and outside sales staff.
