Accountant
We are currently seeking an ACCOUNTANT with a Canadian CPA Designation, to join our growing team. This is a full-time position located in beautiful Saint John NB.

Qualifications:

Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant designation
Strong communications skills, and previous experience working with senior management
Demonstrated competency in assessing, working through, and resolving issues related to accounting
Demonstrated commitment to your ongoing professional development
Experience in the Construction and/or Equipment Industry would be considered an asset

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain detailed project accounting plans, financial reports, and ledgers.
Track and evaluate project-related costs, expenditures, and performance metrics.
Compile and deliver weekly and periodic project status reports.
Prepare variance analysis and reporting to identify discrepancies and trends.
Coordinate and gather necessary documentation for internal and external audits.
Provide support for broader finance activities, including financial analysis and corporate reporting.
Assist with additional financial tasks and special projects as needed.
