The Role

The Accountant will lead the preparation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and practices. The Accountant will also maintain and update fixed assets, conduct internal audits, and assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes. Reporting to the Controller, this position may be an intermediate or senior-level accountant depending on the applicant.

Qualifications

Post-Secondary education in Accounting/Business
CPA designation or working towards it is preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience
Excellent computer skills, advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience working with SAGE X3 ERP and Nectari systems considered an asset
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
