Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at Skans Accountants located in Markham, ON. The Accountant will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial transactions of clients, ensuring accurate financial records, producing financial statements and reports, reconciling accounts, assisting with tax preparation, and providing financial analysis and advice to clients.

Qualifications

Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in accounting software QB online
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
CPA designation or working towards CPA designation is a plus
Experience with tax preparation is a plus
