Job Description:We are seeking a Mechanical Designer to become a part of our team! You will prepare detailed working diagrams as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. Responsibilities:Prepare diagrams and drafts for mechanical components/assembliesPerform FAI on new components using measuring instrumentsAid production during the prototype build phaseGenerate BOMs, work instructions, user manualsCoordinate with other colleaguesSource new components including quotesMaintain the CAD library Qualifications:Previous experience in mechanical design for electromechanical systemsFamiliarity with machine designs and diagramsFamiliarity with 3D CAD (preference will be given to those with Creo experience)Deadline and detail-orientedPreference will be given to those with MIL-STD familiaritySelf starterCompany Description:We are a manufacturer of backplanes and electronics enclosures for the medical, telecom, industrial and military markets.
