Finance and Operations Analyst  Reporting directly to the Administrative and Financial Director, your main responsibility is to help the organization achieve its financial target and goals. You’ll ensure a smooth month-end close, build reporting and budgeting tools, and work closely on operations to help drive the success of the organization. Using your wizardry Microsoft Excel skills you’ll build stories with the numbers to present to your team. You’ll handle all of the accounting, review, and analysis required to ensure our books are accurate. You’ll take care of financial reporting, manage forecasting and reporting, and oversee payables.Practically speaking, you will also be: * Developing and implementing management and monitoring tools, procedures as well as verification of their proper use.* Carrying out regular reports on the organization’s activities.* Monitoring of discrepancies between target objectives and the achieved objectives and the proposal, if necessary, of corrective actions.* Revision of income and expenses before posting.* Supporting towards the finance team for any related activity as needed.* Coordination and monitoring of measures related to the Covid-19 pandemic.* Management of COVID tests, daily monitoring of symptom reports.* Monitoring of positive COVID case situations until their resolution.* Planning and management of fire and lockdown exercises.* Update of required documents.* Management of staff training.* Monitoring of vendors, suppliers and stakeholders and their contracts.You’ll excel in this position if you are:    * Efficient – your organizational skills allow you to plan, multitask, and prioritize to meet deadlines with minimal supervision. You love the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing accuracy.  * Accurate – you’re highly detail-oriented and focused on doing things right. You’re careful and you don’t let details slip through the cracks.  * Motivated – you don’t understand the concept of dead time, instead you see opportunities to refine processes to make them more effective.   * Professional – You have strong communication skills, and you’re comfortable interfacing with senior-level executives because of your strong business acumen.  The Details  This is a full-time, permanent position, offering a competitive compensation package, commensurate with experience which includes benefits, sick days, and 4 weeks of vacation.You’ll work 8:00AM to 4:00PM, Monday to Friday, currently in a hybrid model of 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.Qualifications  * 2+ years of experience as a financial analyst/associate or similar, working with complex financial data and reporting on this data  * Experience presenting financial information to non-finance audiences * Proficiency in G-Suite* Advanced proficiency with Excel for financial modeling and financial analysis  * Post-secondary degree or diploma in business, preferably with a specialization or major in accounting/finance  * CPA graduate or enrolled in CPA* Bilingual French (asset)Your ApplicationWe value diversity and inclusion and encourage all qualified people to apply.
