Key Responsibilities :

Operate hauling trucks loaded with asphalt, sand, aggregate, and other materials.
Secure all loads, materials, and equipment.
Operate GIP Interpaving Limited vehicle in accordance with laws & regulations always
Maintain a clean and tidy work environment and equipment, both interior and exterior
Perform mandatory daily pre-trips and post-trips inspections in accordance with current laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate log of hours worked in compliance with current laws and regulations.
Follow a schedule for pick-up and deliveries according to priority.
Verify hauling material and weight.
Communicate with foreman or other equipment operators to ensure delivery of materials are according to job specifications.
Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of GIP Interpaving Limited Health & Safety Policy Program
Monitor, service, and document the equipment logs and inspection as per the preventative maintenance and standard requirements.
Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines and carry out assignments to completion.
Perform other related duties as required

Position Requirements :

Valid D(Z)/A(Z) Drivers License
A minimum of three year of related driving experience
Understanding of CVOR rules and Regulations
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Must be physically capable of operating a vehicle safely, have an acceptable driving record (CVOR & Drivers Abstract required)
Have good written & communication skills.
