Job Description:

Are you an experienced DZ Driver seeking a local driving opportunity in the beautiful province of Ontario? RO LOGISTICS is looking for a dedicated and skilled Local DZ Driver to join our team. As a Local DZ Driver, you'll be responsible for transporting goods within the Ontario region, ensuring safe and timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

Local Deliveries: Safely operate and navigate DZ-class vehicles to make deliveries within Ontario, covering various routes as needed.

Loading and Unloading: Efficiently load and unload cargo while ensuring proper securement and adherence to safety standards.

Documentation: Complete accurate delivery documentation, including receipts and logs, in accordance with company policies and regulations.

Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance, reporting any issues to the maintenance team.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with clients and colleagues.

Compliance: Strictly adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards, including Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.

Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with the dispatch team, promptly reporting any delays, incidents, or issues.

Qualifications:
Valid DZ driver's license with a clean driving record.
Minimum of 3 years of DZ driving experience.
Strong knowledge of Ontario's roadways, cities, and towns.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical fitness for handling loading and unloading tasks.
Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge is an asset.
Familiarity with GPS and routing software for local navigation.

Working Conditions:
Full-time position with regular hours, primarily local routes within Ontario.
Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs.
Exposure to various weather conditions, typical of Ontario's climate.

Salary:
$27 per hour
