CLASS 1 & 3 DRIVER WANTED IN TORONTO

Class 1 and Class 3Q Drivers Needed
Must be within commuting distance of High River
Must be willing to work in a Non Smoking Environment
Agriculture Based Trucking Company near High River needs class 1 and 3q drivers.
Possible out of town work available (room and per diem provided).
Qualifications:
Class 1licence with 2 years experience;
Class 3Q licence with 1 year experience;
Good 10 year Commercial Driver’s Abstract;
Able to pass pre-employment drug test;

Additional Qualifications:

First Aid/CPR
*WHMIS
*TDG
*Hours of Service / Weights and Measurements
*Cargo Securement

*In house training available

Duties:
Operate a highway tractor pulling tandem and tri-axle end-dump trailers (class 1);
Operate a highway tractor pulling heavy equipment (class1);
Operate a gravel truck and pup/quad combination (class 1);
Operate tandem and tri-drive manure spreaders (class 3Q);
Accurate completion of daily load sheets and other paperwork;
Daily refueling/greasing and cleaning of cab/windows/lights.
Attributes:
Positive attitude and punctual;
Ability to work with others;
Willing to follow safety rules;
Able to follow verbal instructions;
Willing to help at the loading locations (operating gates/moving equipment and tidying load areas)
Capable of completing minor repairs and maintenance, scraping of box if needed;

Competitive wages paid every two weeks.

Applicants able to travel out of town will receive preference in the hiring process
