Auto Body Repair Technician - Toronto

We are still looking for Auto Body Technician with at least 2 - 3 yrs experience that is available 40 hours a week. Wage will be dependent on experience but looking at $25 - $30 an hour to start and must have some Certification or Relative Work Experience in an Auto Body Shop. Mitchell and/or Audatex or automotive claims experience are an asset.

We are seeking individuals that have a good work ethic which is essential to the repair process and must be able to perform quality repairs in a timely matter, always keeping the customers satisfaction in mind. Know how to repair and replace damaged motor vehicle structures and body components, including interior and exterior finishes.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel or crouch and use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools, controls and equipment.
- Have experience in all areas of Body Shop repair (including Frame work).
- Using frame machines to straighten bent frames and unitized bodies
- Working out minor damage in panels, fenders, skirting and sheet metal trim and also welding torn metal
- Knowledge of Rust Repair is beneficial as it is a service we provide to our customers.
- Current knowledge of technical repair procedures and estimating practices within the collision industry is an asset.
- The employee is required to read & interpret and follow processes & procedures.
- The employee may be required to lift and/or move up a minimum 50 pounds.
- Must have a Valid Alberta driver's license

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be in an open shop environment. Candidate must be able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
