OVERVIEW OF POSITION - Prep Cook &amp; Line Cook
As proper food handling and safety is of the utmost importance, a primary role of the prep and line cooks is to monitor sanitation, food quality, and food freshness. This position is highly physical; therefore, individuals must possess a strong level of physical stamina. Candidates must have previous kitchen experience and some formal culinary training is desirable. Ideal candidates are both efficient and effective employees who possess superior time management skills and communication skills, are team players, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Reports to: Back of House Manager on Duty (BOH MOD)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Preparation, production and execution of menu items and food quality standards according to detailed recipes and instructions
Receiving and storage of deliveries as related to the commissary kitchen
Effective storage, management, and safe rotation (FIFO) of all products
Cleaning, sanitation and maintenance of kitchen equipment and food production spaces
Strict adherence to company, municipal and provincial guidelines as they are related to food safety and safe workplace environments

Qualifications:

• Enter, post and reconcile batches
• Research and resolve customer A/R issues
• Maintain cash receipts journal

You would be working in Toronto mostly but sometimes other cities in the GTA like Scarborough, Markham, Burlington, Mississauga, Brampton, Oshawa and many more!!!
We are looking for social, team oriented people that like adventures, traveling, making new friends, enjoy working outside, eating some amazing foods and experiences some of the best festivals in Ontario!! You have to be available for most weekends but not every week. Shifts are long so you can bank lots of hours in a short period of time and have your week days free!!

Position overview:
The work season begins in around May 20th and finishes Sep 20th weekends only
Hours range form 15 to 50 hours per weekend but not every weekend.
All travel and sleeping arrangements are made for you for out of town shifts
Your schedule is made a month in advance so you can plan around it
We only work outside, weather is always a factor and we work even if it rains!

Compensation for Team members: 2023
1st summer No experience $18 per hour + tips + travel expenses.

Responsibilities
We are hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:

Clean and sanitize vehicle interior per Complete Clean Pledge standards
Vacuum and prepare vehicle interior per Complete Clean Pledge standards
Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior - this might include cars of different sizes, as well as vans and trucks.
Check fuel level and warning lights: inspect windshield for damage; factory reset/restore vehicle setting to clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost &amp; Found; verify that registration is present, current and matches the license plate.
Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure and tread depth; inspect vehicle exterior for damage
Fuel and stage vehicle
Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage; pull vehicle out of the prep processing as necessary
Maintains a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions
Responsible for wearing proper personal protection equipment (PPE) and ensuring cleaning, detailing, washing and sanitization supplies are available
Assists customers when needed. May transport customers to and from the branches
Helps maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of branch locations
Site appearance responsibilities to include: desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot and any other miscellaneous tasks related to the daily cleanliness of the branch location
Additional Responsibilities

Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old
Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years
No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years
Must be authorized to work in Canada and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
